Laced Golf Pre-Order Terms and Conditions

This Agreement governs the pre-order of the Laced Gen1 and Laced Beta golf sensor products (collectively, the “Product”) from Laced, LLC (referred to as “Laced,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing a pre-order, you (“Customer” or “you”) agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Nature of the Pre-Order and Product Development

1.1. Pre-Order Acknowledgment

You are placing a pre-order for a Product that is currently in the prototype and development phase. This is similar to a crowdfunding commitment, and while Laced intends to deliver the final Product, the payment constitutes an investment in the development process.

1.2. Product Variants

  • Laced Gen1: The intended final commercial product.

  • Laced Beta: An early-access, prototype version of the sensor that is inherently less robust.

1.3. Prototype Risk & Specification Changes

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE that the Product’s design, features, specifications, and aesthetics (including but not limited to color, shape, materials, and internal components) are subject to change as we move from prototype to the finished Gen1 version.

  • No Liability for Changes: Laced shall not be liable to you for any changes in the Product’s appearance or features, provided the core functionality remains consistent with the on-foot golf sensor concept.

  • App Intellectual Property: The accompanying Laced mobile application and its underlying software and algorithms (the "App") are the sole and exclusive intellectual property of Laced, LLC. Your purchase grants you a license to use the App, but not ownership of the App’s code or IP.

2. Laced Beta Specific Risks

If you pre-order the Laced Beta product, you explicitly acknowledge and accept the following heightened risks:

  • Indoor Use Only: Laced Beta sensors are designed for indoor use and testing environments only.

  • Water Sensitivity: The sensors are highly sensitive to water, moisture, and humidity. Exposure to elements such as (but not limited to) rain, dew, or wet conditions will likely cause irreparable damage.

  • Risk Acknowledgment: You assume all responsibility for damage or failure to the Laced Beta product resulting from exposure to water or outdoor use.

3. Pricing and Payment

3.1. Full Pre-Order Payment

The purchase price paid at checkout constitutes the full price for the Product and is not a deposit.

3.2. Price Fluctuations

The Product price is subject to change based on current promotions, deals, variants, or market conditions. You acknowledge that if Laced adjusts the price of the Product after your purchase (either up or down), Laced is not obligated to offer you a refund or credit for the price difference, nor are we obligated to honor a previous price if you purchase at a later date.

4. Delivery Estimates and Delays

4.1. Estimated Delivery Dates

Laced will use its best commercial efforts to meet the following estimated delivery timelines:

  • Laced Beta Estimated Delivery: February 2026

  • Laced Gen1 Estimated Delivery: July 2026

4.2. Delays

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE that these dates are non-binding estimates and are subject to change. Production delays, supply chain issues, unforeseen engineering obstacles, or acts of God may cause significant delays. Laced shall not be liable for any damages or compensation resulting from delays in delivery.

5. Refunds and Cancellation (The Laced Golf Guarantee)

5.1. Full Refund Right

Notwithstanding the risks inherent in prototype pre-orders, Laced offers an unconditional full refund policy. You may request a full refund of your pre-order payment at any time prior to the shipment of your Product, for any reason.

5.2. Changes as Grounds for Refund

If Laced implements a change to the Product’s features, look, specifications, or delivery date that you do not approve of, you are fully entitled to and encouraged to request a refund under section 5.1.

5.3. Process

To request a refund, you must process through our website or contact Laced via email at support@lacedgolf.com with your order number.

6. Product Compatibility and Returns

6.1. Shoe Attachment

Laced makes every effort to design a sensor that attaches to most common golf shoe types. However, you acknowledge that it is possible for certain unique or proprietary shoe designs to be incompatible with our attachment mechanism.

6.2. Incompatibility Policy

If, upon receiving the Product, you find it cannot be securely attached to your specific golf shoes, you are entitled to a return and a full refund of the purchase price, provided the Product is returned in new, unused condition within 30 days of receipt. Laced's liability is limited to accepting the return and issuing the refund.

7. Governing Law and Disputes

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee.

BY CLICKING TO PURCHASE THE PRE-ORDER, YOU CONFIRM THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND ACCEPTED ALL OF THE TERMS, RISKS, AND ESTIMATED TIMELINES OUTLINED IN THIS AGREEMENT.
